DISCUSSION ON VAPOUR DEPOSITED ELECTRODES

Vapour deposited gold can make for a good electrodes for sensors and biosensors, but they unless the sensors can be designed very small the manufacturing throughput per wafer is low and therefore the cost per electrodes is much more challenging than there thick film printed analogues.
