It should be notes that Zahner is a very high quality instrument, there are several instruments still in use after 20 years, and it is finding PCs to run these old instruments that is the issue rather than the instrument itself. Please don't ever open up the Zahner instrument, but  I know customers who have and what they see is a robust instrument.  Zahner is probably the only potentiostat company that actually populates the electronic components onto the printed-circuit-board, they do this because they don't believe anyone else will do it with the care and attention that they will; we say all this as this is truly an instrument that is built with attention to quality as opposed to being low cost/low quality.  On occasions you may need to test or troubleshoot an instrument, in which case we will ask you to follow this document.
